Job Responsibilities
As a Survey Draftsperson, the primary duties include reading blueprints to determine work requirements, developing and preparing design sketches, and examining drawings for conformity and errors. The role also involves consulting with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements, surveying building locations and levels, and developing survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys.
Additional tasks include planning and designing water and waste management systems, overseeing the preparation of site plans, reports, and land use studies, and preparing detailed drawings of sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Surveying Engineering or Surveying Technology/Surveying.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Certifications: AutoCAD Certification.
- Specializations: Detailing drafting, Presentation drawings, Cartographic drafting, Survey, Drafting, Land survey, Topographic survey.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Computer-aided design (CAD), AutoCAD, and MS Office.
