Job Responsibilities
As a Detailer – Structural Steel Drafter, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, completing documentation packages, and examining drawings for conformity and errors. This role requires experience in shop and detailing drafting.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess a College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience, with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in various computer and technology tools, such as Tekla, CAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Windows, and Google Docs, is essential. Experience in metal fabrication and the ability to work with architectural and structural engineering projects are also required.
