Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering designs and drawings, along with construction specifications, costs, and material estimates. Your duties will include examining drawings for conformity and errors, completing documentation packages, and working closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Additionally, you will estimate costs and materials, contributing to efficient project planning and execution.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in English is essential, along with the ability to use drafting software such as Tekla, and familiarity with internet and desktop applications.
Specialized Skills and Certifications
Preferred candidates will hold certifications in Drafting (Architectural) Trade and Steel Detailing. Experience in shop drawings and detailing drafting is also essential for this role.
Work Environment and Conditions
