Job Responsibilities
The Mechanical Draftsperson will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates. Additional duties include writing technical reports, writing specifications, examining drawings for conformity and errors, and consulting with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, along with 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT is required. Experience in detailing drafting and knowledge in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are essential.
